Terms of Use
1. STANDARD AMMENITIES & INCLUSIONS
a. Each Cabana includes the following:
- Breakfast for 2 pax
- Private toilet and bath
- Hot and Cold Shower
- Air Conditioning Unit
- Mini Bar/ Refrigerator
- Safety Deposit Box
- Hair Dryer
- Hot Water Pot
b. Each Tent includes the following:
- Air bed
c. Cabana rate is for a maximum of 2 pax.
- Extra pax charge is PHP700 per person inclusive of extra bed and breakfast.
- A maximum of two (2) children less than 12 years of age will be free of charge provided that no extra bed is needed. Breakfast for children will have to be paid separately at the TICAO ISLAND RESORT restaurant.
d. Tent rate is for a maximum of 2 pax.
- Extra pax will be charged PHP150 per night.
- Meals are not included in the Tent rate. Meals may be purchased at the TICAO ISLAND RESORT restaurant or may be cooked at the provided cooking facility.
- Use of the cooking facility is at PHP200 per tent per day.
2. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
a. An INVOICE is issued as an initial reservation . The INVOICE does not assure the guest of a confirmed booking. A booking is only considered confirmed once payment has been received and a CONFIRMATION NOTICE has been issued.
b. The reservation will hold for 7 calendar days from the date of the issuance of the INVOICE, unless otherwise stated. If no payment is received by option date, TICAO ISLAND RESORT reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
c. Provided that a CONFIRMATION NOTICE has NOT been issued, prices are subject to change without prior notice.
d. A CONFIRMATION NOTICE will be issued upon payment confirmation. Bank/wire transfers take 4 to 5 business days for bank clearance, PayPal and Credit Card payments take 2 to 4 business days for verification.
3. PAYMENT METHOD:
a. 100% of payment is required to confirm your booking.
b. Payment methods are:
- Bank/wire transfer
- PayPal
- Credit Card (available September 2009)
4. CANCELLATION:
a. CANCELLATIONS MADE FOUR (4) CALENDAR DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED DATE OR ARRIVAL
Any cancellation made four (4) calendar days prior to the scheduled date of arrival results to the full stay being charged.
b. CANCELLATIONS MADE AT LEAST FIVE (5) CALENDAR DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED DATE OR ARRIVAL
Any cancellation made at least five (5) calendar days prior to the scheduled date of arrival results to a full refund. Any transaction charges (i.e. bank charges) will NOT be shouldered by TICAO ISLAND RESORT.
c. FOR CANCELLATIONS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE and FORTUITOUS EVENTS
Any cancellation due to force majeure or fortuitous events such as flight cancellation due to bad weather.
Guests will have the option to:
1. Rebook with no price changes within one (1) calendar year from the original expected date of arrival.
2. Refund of 80%. Any transactional charges for the refund (i.e. bank charges) will be shouldered by TICAO ISLAND RESORT.
However, if guests who are en-route are unable to reach TICAO ISLAND RESORT and contingency accommodation arrangements are arranged by TICAO ISLAND RESORT, full night stay will be charged.
5. CHECK IN / CHECK OUT POLICY
a. Standard check in time is at 1400H.
b. Standard check out time is 1200H.
c. Requests for early check-in and late check-out will be honoured but are not guaranteed. TICAO ISLAND RESORT will make best efforts to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs.
6. SAFETY CLAUSES:
a. TICAO ISLAND RESORT will take the necessary safety precautions for the resort, guests, and staff.
b. TICAO ISLAND RESORT will NOT be responsible for any injuries, accidents, or death especially as a result of negligence.
c. To ensure peace of mind while on vacation, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
d. Guests are encouraged to follow TICAO ISLAND RESORT house rules.
