Getting there

gothere The first step is to get to Legaspi City. By air, you can take an hour’s plane ride from either Manila or Cebu. Cebu Pacific Air, Philippine Airlines, and Zest Air have frequent flights to Legaspi City.

Should you opt for land transfer, you also have the option to take a bus or a private van from Manila to Legaspi City.

Once in Legaspi City, Ticao Island Resort provides private arrangements to get to the resort. The travel will consist of land transfers in an air conditioned vehicle and sea travel in an outrigger boat.

Via public transportation ( Pilar to Monreal ):

  1. public jeepneyTake a public bus, van, or shuttle to Pilar. (1-1.5h)
    (Note: It is also possible to take a public bus from Manila to Pilar; although trips are not as frequent and the ride may not be as comfortable as that of Manila to Legaspi.)
  2. From Pilar, take a public ferry to  Monreal. The public ferry leaves Pilar to Monreal at 12 noon daily. (Return trip from Monreal to Pilar is at 7am daily). (1.5h)

  3. From Monreal, take either a motorcycle or hire a boat to Ticao Island Resort. (20-30min)

Via public transportation ( Bulan to San Jacinto ):

  1. From the Legaspi Satellite, take a public bus, van, or shuttle to Bulan (2.5 hours). This will cost between PHP100 to PHP200 per head depending on the type of transportation.
  2. From Bulan, take a public ferry to San Jacinto. (1 hour). This will cost PHP90. The Bulan – San Jacinto ferry leaves at 6AM, 8AM, 10AM, and 1PM.
    NOTE: If accommodations are needed at Bulan, One Conception Place is a 5 minute walk to the Bulan Pier. The room rate is PHP750 per room per night.
  3. From San Jacinto, take either a motorcycle or hire a boat to Ticao Island Resort (20-30min). The motorcycle rate is PHP150 per person and the boat charge is PHP1000 per boat (good for 4 people).
